Burns Supper - Fri 27 Jan
On Friday 27th January we celebrated the memory of Scotland's greatest Poet with a traditional Burns Supper. As well as the Selkirk Grace, a Piper, and a Haggis that had an Address, there were many toasts and (of course) lots of Dancing! What a wonderful evening enjoyed by all who attended:
in the Garden Centre - Thu 15 Dec
On the evening of Thursday 15th December, residents of Poundbury joined in the Garden Centre to sing a selection of traditional Christmas Carols and then retire to the Engine Room for a 'Carol Singers' Buffet'. It was so good, that even Santa joined us!
Chilton Cantelo School Chamber Choir - Fri 25 Nov
On Friday 25th November we were treated to an outstanding evening of sacred choral music for Advent and Christmas, that included show songs and some recent hits.
As well as enjoying a great evening's entertainment, together we raised £125 for the Choir's chosen charity (Taunton & Yeovil Hospice). Many thanks to Fish Face and the Garden Centre for their donated raffle prizes.
We were very grateful to the Headmaster, Dr. John Price, for allowing the choir to return to Poundbury and for Peter Rice, Choirmaster, for putting together such an entertaining evening.

Swansea Opera - Fri 28 Jan
On Friday 28th January those present in the Brownsword Hall were treated to an enchanting evening of arias and ensembles, courtesy of the Swansea City Opera (SCO).
The evening was hosted by the charismatic Director of the SCO, Brendan Wheatley, and was accompanied throughout on the piano by the SCO's Musical Director Fraser Goulding.
